It was not particularly new here that the story was a cliché that saw the case of a lawyer seeing a case on a police case with a team called David Bouchard (Huard) and Martin Ward (Feore). What separated this phenomenon from each other and probably why it became so popular that when it came back in 2006 and it was always the highest grossing Canadian movie (and still) how different these detectives were from Ontario (Ward) and the other From Quebec (Bouchard).
Movie’s fun was that many differences between the cultures of both provinces played mostly with Ward and with Bouchard’s mostly French-speaking character. While Bouchard was more reckless, Ward was the best man in the duo. At first they stood with them, who came together.
